Salt Lake City Fire Station No. 3 is the second Net Zero Fire Station in the U.S. behind Fire Station No. 14, and is anticipating to meet LEED Gold certification. G Brown Design was able to take the same architectural goals of efficiency, resilience, and sustainability and incorporate the same principles into the surrounding landscape. Using resilient and sustainable plants and creating usable and interesting spaces outdoors for fire fighters to work or relax.
