G Brown Design worked closely with Daybreak Communities (formerly Kennecott Land) and the landscape contractor as part of a design-build team to program and design Vermilion Park. The slopes were strategically graded for the purpose of creating an ideal north-facing sledding hill with a long run-out through the stormwater basin at the base of the slope. Some of the program elements include:

- Custom Shade Structure and Vegetable Wash Station
- Custom Garden Fence
- Swings
- Large Grass Sledding Hill
